Email and timeline

Every lead, contact and company has one timeline: email, calls, notes, invoices, payments, quotes, signing, tasks and support.

Filter the timeline

Use All, Emails, Calls and notes, Money and Documents to narrow it down. Viewers don't see money or documents.

Send email from Lead16

Connect Gmail in Settings, on the Professional or Enterprise plan. Then use the composer on any timeline:

• Choose From, To and Cc, and start from a template.
• Add attachments, up to 3.5 MB in total.
• Your Gmail signature is added at send.
• Drafts save as you go, and replies stay in the thread.

Draft with Claude writes a reply for you to check. It only ever puts words in the box. You still click Send.

What gets filed

Filing mail automatically is off until you turn it on. When it's on, Lead16 files sent and received mail by address, keeping the subject, addresses and Gmail's short preview, not the full message.

Open tracking

Off for every workspace until an owner or admin turns it on in Settings. It then applies to mail sent from Lead16. An open means something loaded the image: Gmail and some mail gateways load images before a person looks, so treat it as a hint.

If you turn it on, say so in your own privacy policy.
